The piece celebrates the multiculturalism and accessibility to curiosity and wonders of people in York area. The motifs embraces the landmarks of Ontario Science Centre, Aga Khan Museum, Black Creek River Village, Festival site of Downsview Park and Iconic Sculpture of Botanical Garden. The mural was commissioned by the city of Toronto's StreetART/ Outside the Box program; the design was chosen out of over 300+ submissions from GTA. The design concept was created by NITZKHI and executed with the help of The Spacekatz Crew/ our youth members. We’d like to thank the StART program for the public art opportunity & the Weston Village Community & our SK families the support.
